The Woman You’ve Become | Meet Dianne

Tomorrow is the giggling day…”
That was the very first line of the email I received from Dianne the day before her session—and honestly, she was so right.

Our time together was full of laughter, stories, and plenty of catching up. You see, Dianne isn’t new to my camera. She was one of my very first boudoir clients six years ago, right back when this journey was only just beginning. To see how far she has come since then—on her own path of rediscovery and confidence—has been nothing short of inspiring.

Dianne is a woman of contrasts: elegant yet playful, grounded yet full of flair. She has such a Diane Keaton vibe about her stylish, authentic, and unapologetically herself. Whether she was curled up gracefully indoors in her flowing dresses or stepping outside into the garden with her hat and boots, there was a quiet confidence that radiated through it all.

Two parts of this session felt especially meaningful. One was when she included her beautiful rescue dog—such a special bond and an important part of her life. The other was the jewellery she chose to wear with her dresses, pieces filled with memory and connection, which made those portraits even more timeless.

Dianne’s session was a reminder of why I do this work. It’s not just about photographs; it’s about celebrating women as they are now, capturing both their lighthearted giggles and their deeper stories.
