The Woman You’ve Become – Judi’s Story

When Judi arrived for her session, she came with the kind of energy that says, life first, photos second.

That morning she’d been out on her property helping to rescue a sickly lamb, and then walked into her shoot calm, grounded, and ready to go.

Judi’s approach to her wardrobe was beautifully simple — she brought along a few favourite tops and jackets. No dresses, no fuss, just what feels like her. Among those pieces was a leather jacket that holds a very special story: gifted to her by her uncle , the jacket is about 50 years old , it’s a garment that carries decades of memory and meaning.

What struck me most about Judi is the balance she embodies. She is practical and hands-on, but also elegant, fun, and full of warmth. Her smile is the kind that makes you smile right back.

This is exactly what “The Woman You’ve Become” is about — celebrating women as they are, not as they think they should be.

Judi’s session reminded me once again that confidence comes from authenticity, and that the best photos are always born from real stories.
