The Woman You've Become | Amber

Every so often, someone comes into your life who ends up becoming part of the story itself. For me, Amber is one of those people.

She was the very first woman to step in front of my camera for a boudoir session all those years ago. Since then, she’s been one of my greatest supporters, the one I could call when I had a new idea I wanted to test or when I needed someone who trusted me enough to dive head-first into something different. Amber has been there—always with laughter, always with kindness, and always with a spark of fun that makes every session unforgettable.

This latest shoot for The Woman You’ve Become series felt extra special. Amber has just turned 50—fifty and fabulous—and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that milestone than by capturing her in all her authenticity. What I love most about these images is how they reflect the many sides of her: joyful, fierce, playful, grounded, and utterly stylish.

And speaking of style—Amber has a true gift for finding hidden gems in op shops. Some of the pieces she wore in this shoot were her latest thrift-store treasures, and she wore them with the confidence and flair that only she can pull off. From flowing dresses to bold boots, she showed up exactly as herself—fearless and fabulous.

Of course, we couldn’t leave out her newest love: that bright yellow car that brings her so much joy. Seeing Amber perched on the bonnet, boots kicked up, arms wide in celebration—it feels like the perfect snapshot of this chapter in her life.

Amber, you are one of the kindest, most loyal, and most fun women I know. Photographing you again for The Woman You’ve Become was more than just another session—it was a celebration of your journey, your spirit, and the joy you bring into every room.
