What should I wear for my photoshoot? Let’s make it simple

“What should I wear?” is one of the questions I get asked the most before a photoshoot.

If you’ve stood in front of your wardrobe wondering whether anything will work, you’re certainly not alone.

Firstly, start with fit and comfort.

Choose pieces that fit you well , let you move comfortably and don’t need constant adjusting. When you feel at ease in what you’re wearing, it’s easier to relax in front of the camera.

For women’s portraits, think about how you’d love to be photographed.

That might mean a favourite dress, a simple shirt and jeans, or something soft and feminine.

For boudoir, you don’t have to wear anything revealing—a beautiful shirt or cosy knit can work .You don’t even need to wear revealing lingerie, we can still get great photos with a bra and panty set. .

For business branding, your clothes should feel like you and suit the work you do.

Think of an outfit that you work comfortably in.

One that feels a little more polished. Something connected to what you do.

You don’t have to work it all out on your own.

Before your session, we’ll chat about the look you’d like, and I can help you narrow down your choices.

On the day, we’ll look through what you’ve brought together.
