Ever wondered what actually goes on behind the scenes of a boudoir session? Maybe you’ve seen the finished photos and thought, “Wow, she looks incredible!” — but also felt a little nervous about what stepping in front of the camera might be like.
Let me take you behind the scenes of what it’s like to have a boudoir session with me — step by step — so you know exactly what to expect (and can get excited instead of nervous!).

When you arrive for your session, I’ll give you a quick tour of the absolutely stunning Villa Te Soro — the dreamy, light-filled location where all the boudoir magic happens. Each bedroom is uniquely themed and ridiculously gorgeous. Once you see them, I guarantee your nerves will start turning into excitement.

Meet Your Glam Squad 💄
Next, you’ll meet the lovely Ashlee — your hair and makeup artist and all-around beauty wizard. She’ll chat with you about the look you’re going for — soft and natural, bold and glam, or somewhere in between — and start working her magic while we sip coffee and settle in. Let’s Talk Lingerie 👙
(Also known as: My Favourite Bit)
While Ashlee is doing her thing, I’ll be diving into the lingerie, robes, bodysuits, and whatever fabulous bits you’ve brought with you. I love this part — mixing and matching sets, adding accessories, and getting a feel for your personal style. It also helps me plan the flow of the shoot and match the looks to the rooms and poses that will show you off best.
Getting Comfy (with Me and the Camera)
By now, we’ll be chatting like old friends — about your session, life, travel, dogs, the awkward phase of growing out a fringe… whatever pops up! This is all part of the process. The more comfortable you feel, the more you’ll enjoy the experience — and trust me, it will show in your photos.
What to Expect From Me
(AKA: The Chaos Behind the Camera)
Let’s be honest — I’m not exactly the quiet, serious photographer type. Here’s what you can count on from me during your session:
💬 Non-stop chatting. I’ll talk to you constantly throughout the shoot — partly to keep you relaxed, partly because I just love a good yarn.
📸 My camera will go missing. At least once. Probably twice.
🪜 There will be a step ladder. I’m not tall, and I like to shoot from creative angles. My trusty ladder comes everywhere with me — she’s practically a co-star.
😂 I will demonstrate the poses. Even the floor ones. Even the ones with hair flicks. Yes, I’ll look ridiculous, and no, I don’t care. If it helps you feel confident doing it, it’s worth it!
🙌 Lots of encouragement. You’ll hear me cheer, gasp, and say “YAAAS ” more times than you can count. Oh, and I may also do a little dance when I look at the back of my camera and see just how stunning your are.
You don’t have to know how to pose, or what to do with your hands, or even how to feel sexy — that’s my job to help with. All you need to do is show up, be yourself, and let me guide you.
