This month marks 10 years since I officially stepped behind the camera full-time—and what a ride it’s been.

When people think of photography, they imagine the beautiful final images—the styled hair, the perfect light, the joyful smiles. But behind every polished photo is a real moment, and sometimes… a very unexpected one.

Like the time I got peed on mid-shoot by a very relaxed newborn (yep, hazard of the job!). Or the flower girl who was having none of it—grumpy in every photo, arms crossed like a tiny CEO on strike. I sometimes wonder if she looks back now and laughs.

There was the groomsman who left his suit at home—40 minutes away. Yes, the groom was the one who ended up late that day, the bridesmaids who disappeared and were found eventually cooling off in the bridal car, with the AC turned on full volume. Or the countless times I’ve become an honorary seamstress, sewing on buttons, stitching a hem, keeping everything together—literally.

I’ve been a shoulder to cry on, a calm voice in the chaos, and always the one with plasters, safety pins, and a steady hand when nerves get the best of us.

And I wouldn’t trade a second of it.

These behind-the-scenes moments are part of the story too. They’ve shaped me, grounded me, and reminded me that what I do isn’t just about photos—it’s about people.

So here’s to 10 years
Of laughter, surprises, trust, and transformation.
And to the women who’ve trusted me with their most important moments—thank you.
