I've Got You Covered Even When You're Uncovered....
Sometimes the hardest part about booking a boudoir session is simply not knowing what to expect.
Will it feel awkward?
Will I know what to do?
What if I don’t have the “right” lingerie?
What if I feel nervous?
These are questions almost every woman asks before her session — and the truth is, they’re all completely normal.
So if you’ve ever wondered what a boudoir session with me is actually like… this one is for you.
If you’ve ever thought about doing a boudoir session but felt a little nervous… you’re not alone.
In fact, almost every woman who walks through my door arrives with the same mix of emotions — excitement, curiosity, and yes… nerves.
And that’s completely okay.
Because the truth is, boudoir isn’t about already knowing how to be confident in front of the camera.
It’s about discovering that confidence while you’re here.
It’s okay to feel nervous
Nearly every woman tells me the same thing when she arrives:
"I’m a bit nervous."
And I always smile when I hear it, because I know what’s coming next.
We start with hair and makeup, we chat about your outfits, about life, about what brought you here. The room fills with conversation and laughter… and somewhere along the way the nerves quietly disappear.
Sometimes we even do a few breathing exercises just to help you settle in.
By the time we start shooting, you’re already feeling much more like yourself.
It’s okay if you don’t know how to pose
You don’t need to arrive knowing what to do in front of the camera.
That’s my job.
I guide you through everything — where to place your hands, how to move, how to angle your body so it feels natural and flattering.
Little adjustments, gentle direction, and before you know it you’re moving confidently from pose to pose.
It’s okay if you don’t own fancy lingerie
You don’t need a suitcase full of expensive lingerie to do a boudoir shoot.
A simple bra and panty set is more than enough to start with.
And if you’d like something different, the studio wardrobe is always available. Just let me know before your session and we’ll find something that makes you feel beautiful, feminine and comfortable.
It’s okay to be the age you are
One of the biggest myths about boudoir photography is that there’s an age limit.
There isn’t.
In fact, many of the women I photograph are over 40, 50 and beyond — women who have lived, loved, raised families, built careers, and finally decided it’s time to celebrate themselves.
And those are often the most powerful sessions of all.
The only thing that’s not okay…
Is believing you’re not worthy of beautiful photos.
Because you are.
You are worthy of being seen.
You are worthy of feeling confident.
You are worthy of celebrating the woman you’ve become.
And that’s exactly why I do what I do.
Because when you step into this space…
I’ve got you covered.
Even when you’re uncovered.
"The only thing that’s not okay… is believing you’re not worthy of beautiful photos."
If you’ve been thinking about doing a boudoir session for a while but haven’t quite found the courage yet… consider this your gentle nudge.
Because one day you’ll look back at this stage of your life and realise it was worth celebrating too.
And I would love to photograph the woman you’ve become.
