Soft, Feminine, and Powerful: Boudoir Isn't One-Size-Fits-All
When you hear the word boudoir, it’s easy to picture lace, heels, and dramatic posing — and truthfully, most of the women who walk through my door are all for it. They want to feel flirty, feminine, and sexy. They want a moment that’s all about them — feeling powerful, sensual, and confident in their own skin.
But here’s the thing: there’s no single way to do boudoir.
Take this recent session, for example. This gorgeous client wore soft, floral lingerie and a satin robe. There was no over-the-top styling or bold, flashy attitude — just quiet confidence, natural beauty, and a little softness that still speaks volumes. (Don’t get me wrong, there was definitely some attitude and sexiness during the session.)
It’s not about revealing everything. It’s about revealing yourself.
You don’t need to fit into a mould to do this. You don’t need to change who you are or push yourself beyond your comfort zone. Boudoir can be soft. It can be playful. It can be subtle. And yes — it can still be sexy as hell.
If you're curious about stepping in front of the camera in a way that feels like you, let’s chat. I promise, it’s not as scary as you think — and it might just be the most empowering thing you do this year.
