From Nervous to Radiant: Rediscovering herself in front of the camera.

Last weekend at Villa Te Soro, we welcomed Carlene, who reminded me exactly why I love what I do. She came in feeling anxious, with a real aversion to being in front of the camera, and confessed she’d never really liked any photos of herself.

She arrived with a small suitcase filled with all sorts of outfits — from elegant floral dresses to beautifully feminine bodysuits — and a quiet hope that maybe, just maybe, this experience would be different.

We began gently, taking our time to settle in, breathe, and find comfort in the process. The first few frames were tentative — that mix of curiosity and nerves I see so often. But as the session unfolded, something beautiful happened. Her confidence began to grow. You could see it in her expression, her posture, and the way she started to own her space.

By the time we reached the final look, she wasn’t hiding from the camera anymore — she was standing tall, radiant, and proud.

That’s what The Woman You’ve Become and boudoir sessions are truly about. They’re not about looking perfect — they’re about remembering who you are. Finding that spark again. Seeing yourself through eyes that are kind, accepting, and real.

Starting with nerves and ending with confidence — that transformation is everything.

Because these sessions aren’t about me or the camera.
They’re all about you.

If you’ve been putting off your own session because you “don’t like photos of yourself,” maybe it’s time to rewrite that story.
Let’s capture The Woman You’ve Become.
